Hi everyone Iam restoring a 1972 HQ premier I have worked out what all the id tags mean but no one can tell me what the trim code stands for. It is 1341-18U can any body help.

1341 = Glacia White over chateau mauve 18 = Flax trim U = cloth insert

you're a legend. Thanks for the info how did you work out the paint colours from the trim code? Also what is flax trim and how do you tell what cloth insert it had. Edited by user Monday, 12 February 2007 7:11:16 AM(UTC)

1341 is the paint code, it is the GM-H internal order code for the exterior colour. It is called the combination number.

Thanks Warren for the info but can you tell me how you can work out what flax trim is and what type of cloth insert it had.I have been told the insert is houndstooth does this help?

Flax is white trim and the insert should be diamond cloth, I do not think Premiers had Houndstooth.
