how do i re set the service light on my VY i got it serviced and they didnt do it

It is in the owner manual how to reset it, I think you turn the car on wilst holding the two trip computer buttons, that is how it is on the VT.

1. Turn ignition OFF.
2. Hold down ^ & v buttons together.
3. Turn ignition ON while still holding down buttons.
4. After approx 3 seconds release buttons.
5. Press and release the mode button: the service due screen appears on the display.
6. Press

I tried the steps but it just come up waiting for confirmation, what should I do now?

Is it saying service or something like "service oil"?

We have a VZ & it was saying something like service oil. I could not reset the bugger so I took it back to the dealer. They did a quick reset & told me it's because the V8 VZ's have a viscosity sen

Mobil 1 0w-40 and GF2 10w-30 oil for a lot of newer cars to try and get the best fuel economy.So they tell us.
