G'day gang. I have a EH windowless P/van, with 327. turbo 350, and a disc brake volvo diff. I decided on the volvo diff so as i can fit 10in tyres on the back and retain the same stud pattern, cable handbrake, and it only cost 120 bucks. Now does anyone know if i can fit volvo rotors and calipers to the front, if so, do i need their stub axles? control arms etc etc. at the moment it has the Rod Hadfield HR front end with Hr solid rotors. often people go for the HQ ventilated brakes, but i beleve i will have to change the studs or mags, any info would be great, Car should be on the road after easter. Cheers Doylie

Try fitting your front wheels over HG discs and calipers. Same stud pattern.

It was a an old model Landcrusier tail shaft, no mods required. any other questions about diff i'm happy to replie, it has been big cost saving conversion and a very strong diff for me. Any of volvo stuff is normally well OVER engineered for its own goo

No. They are solid, but the right stud pattern. They are basically what Holden used on the LJ XU-1, and originated on the HT GTS350 then made standard on HG (if discs or V8 were specified).
You'd probably have to run 14" wheels to clear the calipers as H

All other stubs have a differant KPI to HR stubs but will fit on.LH/X discs and calipers bolt straight on to HR disc stubs and work great and my 13 by 6 inch rims fit no problems.
