For sale hg gts monaro rolling shell, NO ID PLATES
has original ten bolt diff
no engine or gear box
has door trims, steering wheel, dash, heater box, steering box,
all glass is there and window mecanizums, fuel tank,
good project car
usuall rust easily restored
is original hg gts

It's certainly no crime to own more than one Monaro - I own 4 currently.
I was just a bit confused that you advertised the tags on one site as your own, yet on here you said you 'know someone' who has tags for sale and 'think' he wants $8000 for them.

The sooner it's illegal (with heavy penalties) to sell tags the better. while we r on the subject i have a 4dr hq monro body suffed what do i do sell id plates,keep them,put them on my stocky hq????is there a law in that who would no if i did.?

Rusty, it is now illegal to possess ID plates that not attached to a car. I can provide a link to the parliamentary sitting details in which this was enacted if anyone disagrees.
It is also illegal to see the plates or to put them on another vehicle.

I should have pointed out that currently this amendment only applies to NSW although I would expect other States to follow suit eventually.
