G'day all,
I need to change the aerial on the ute, thanks to forgetting to put it down when I went through the carwash...DOH!!! Anyway, it has a manual aerial at the moment, what I need to know is, did all VR's come out with power aerials as an option? remembering that the ute is a very base model, no bells or whistles to speak of. The reason I ask is, before I go and spend the cash, I wanna know if there is likely to be wiring there somewhere to plug a power aerial into, or will I need to run all new wiring. Any help appreciated. Russ.

As far as installation of the antenna goes. you need to remove the inner splash guard (plastic liner) & fit the aerial in - the electric one has a bracket that bolts thru the inner pillar just above & in front of the PCM (engine computer) accessible behin
Cheers,

Mick
