G'day a bloke on Oldholden is asking for people to send him scans of they're tyre placards in return for cash.

He said he'd give me money for my Sandman placard:
9930173ND

My question is should I send a scan to him or am I encouraging people to make Sandman replicas?

WANTED: HJ Sandman parts, PM me!

WANTED: GTS rims, seats and mirrors to suit HJ.

The tyre placard is no good for IDing a Sandman unless it's a HZ.

Years ago when I had my first Monaro (HJ GTS) I got pulled over and the copper was going to defect me because of the width of my rims.

He was going on about only being allowed 1 inch wider than standard (which is correct) and that these cars only had 6

If it's any help, commodore placards are in section 8-810, just after owners & service manuals in section 8-808.

Hi Jason, (that's weird to type... I'm a Jason, too...)

I'm not sure I understand how tyre placards work, and I guess that doesn't bother me a huge amount, but I'll take a look at my HQ Ute and see if it's got anything different that you could use.

Where does this stuff come from. GM-H have never produced a Premier ute, in any series.
