only know of 2. 10 bolt diffs. 1.HK-T-G. the 2ED HQ on. the one tonne has thicker axles. 10 bolt are rated at 4000 ft/lb. DANA 44 is 4400 ft/lb. DANA 60 at 7000 ft/lb. the bango is rubbish, it is a 8 bolt in a salisbury form, with fine spline axles.

Fallingbear the most simple way I know of is to check the oil condition for bits of metal like this Beyond that check in the housing for the same and check for worn and damage

Falling bear, seriously, go the VN VP commodore (3.08 ratio) it will be about $50 to buy. a 3.08 10 bolt sailsbury will be minimum $400. the commodore are stronger, have disk brakes STD.

for $50 - $100 you will have to pull it out yourself with you own tools, suggest it over the phone when you inquire...
