Hi Fellas
First time Poster,long time lurker. Tripmeter broken and wish to repair it for Rego. Local wrecker said he doesn't sell Speedos any more and sold me small nylon/plastic cog and said its easy to fit.(first mistake). Point of Post, i have Speedo out of Cluster but can't get Pointer off(then Dial) to see where Cog goes and naturally wrecker closed until Monday.Any ideas,has anyone replaced this Cog???
Any suggestions would be welcome.

You need to:
1) disconnect the speedo electrically at the rear, small black connector
2) Dismantle so that speedo comes out as one unit, you will need to remove all the visable screws and the thin deviders between the speedo and other instruments.

Hi
Thanks Again Warren, FOUND IT , behind Motor on side of Speedo,Face does not have to come off. Easy repair(when you know how), just hope it all works when i put it back in Car.
Your advice was most appreciated,

Thats good, glad you found it. I have to do mine again, I did change the spedo a while ago and it has packed it in.
Gave the old one to the fellow across the road, shoud have kept the gear.
