i got a ea wagon it's a cfi 4 litre thats just had a rebuild 800 k's ago we have done a service on it replaced all leads plugs air filter fuel filter oil and filter new injectors she idles great but won't go over 1500 revs when it gets there it sounds like it's a tractor motor in there

Hi Gary, If it was OK until the recent service i would question the injector change. I used to have a CFI engine in my old car, changing the injectors isn't a normal service procedure was there a problem with them?

From what I can gather you have fitted a 4 litre engine with the CFI inlet manifold to your EA. All 4 litre engines were multipoint but that is no big deal.

Did you use the EA's distributor in the 4 litre? The CFI & multipoint engines used a differe
