Hi there peoples... i own a Daily Driver Ht Prem...the bench bucket is getting a bit rough for 1000 klms a week to work,(sagging and torn ) so i would like to know what seats will bolt up to my car without modification ( Buckets ) if any ? And failing this, can someone suggest buckets that would suit this car ...and how do i moify them ( Redrill rails ?,Make adaptor bracket ? etc ) I would prefer a cheap option... All the best and thanks for the help :)

No matter what seats you use you'll have to make up adapter mounting brackets. If you want to keep a bench have a look at late model Falcon or VSIII ute benches. These are heaps more comfortable than old HT ones.

If fitting them yourself be careful, as you will need a mod plate for any seat you fit that doesn't use the origina

Yeah I got these at a swap meet and I bargained the price down a bit, they are the older style seats but still have the headrests. Height wise they are a bit lower than the bench seat but still very drivable...just means it's a little awkward to rest my Edited by user Thursday, 8 March 2007 2:27:36 AM(UTC)

your cheapest option is to just find another bench seat, there are still heaps around, look on ebay for an over-priced one, swap meets/ trading post /just parts for cheapies. I gave a perfect HT bench away about 6 months ago. HKTG buckets that don't need
