I degreased the motor yesterday and replaced all the heater hoses. I was filling the radiator and started the motor. It ran for about 1 minute and then cut out. It will not start at all now. I have spark at one of the plugs and their is fuel in the fuel rail. Injectors seems to be clicking but no fire at all. Ive tried to find the diagnostic connector ( aldl )in the left front kick panel but it is not there. Can anyone shed any light on what the problem and help me find the diagnostic connector ?

ok mate the diagnostic connector is under the drivers side under the try 1st look under like your going to look at the brake P. and the no start will prob be water in the dizy every 1 dus it. just blow it out 2nd blow out the silver box next to the airbox

Thanks for the reply I ended up changing the ignition module and then the coil. Turned out to be the coil. Apparently the position of the coil ( under and behind the distributer between the motor and the firewall and mounted to the back of the motor )cau

Funny thing is,I just had the exact same thing happen to me but in a VS Stato.I was almost not going to bother cleaning down my engine bay but decided to even though it didnt need it.I was also replacing the speakers in the back and when I tried to start

VS: Module on front guard behind airbox. Coil on rear of engine behind manifold (slightly to the left). Dizzy has a hall effect sensor in it that can go bung.
I've just done all these on my VS2 Calais......

Yep,t'was the coil as with the OPs car.What a **** of a job getting the coil back on let alone getting it out of that tiny little space.My solution was to get a longer coil lead and extended the wiring from the loom,and fitted the new coil to the passenge
