Hi guys,

I'm restoring a HQ coupe and i am looking for glass. Front, rear screens and the 4 side peices (doors and qtr).

i have been i contact with Rare Spares, Roadrunner windscreens etc..

i was wondering if anyone has bought HQ repro glass before and they could recommend a company. Price isn't really an issue as i want the glass to be a good fit and of good quality.

Thanks and i look forward to reading your comments and advice,

John

Hi John,

You mentioned that you had been in contact with Roadrunner Windscreens.

I have heard good reviews about their products. Were they able to help you out?

There are apparently two different sizes in door window glass the Monaro’s manufacture in Adelaide are different to the rest of Australia, its only a minor difference but will effect the fitting.

Yes Brisbane and Adelaide did not make coupes, so yes the Adelaide Monaros have different size glass as they are sedans. HEHEHEHE

Interesting story though as the door would be different if this was the case, then also the body. There would also then ne
