Hi I have got 2 2bbl red motor manifolds. One is cast 743446-P with 114 under that. I believe this is for a HKTG 186S. The other is similar in appearance but cast 743446 4-1. Would the second one be for a HR 186S?

The only differences are some of the casting marks, but also the 4-1 manifold doesn't have the return spring bosses drilled or tapped.

Does anyone know why this is? I notice there are 2 different part numbers in the HK parts manual for auto and manual. What are the differences?

I want to use one of these for a HG 186S Auto - I assume the one with the tapped bosses (743446-P) would be the one to go with?

Cheers, Brian

Hi Brian, the very early HR186S inlet manifold is the one that has the cast mark where they were going to cast the boss later on for the HK-G range.

The second type HR on is the one that has the boss cast on the rear runner, but thay are not drilled o
