Hi
I’m in the process of restoring a 76 HZ premier that may cost me three grand on body work, even though I have a soft spot for HQ's.
I friend of mind has a immaculate HK he wants to sell extremely cheap.
Now I don’t know what to spend money on. Are Hk better value?
What should I do?

If you think you'll get more for reselling the HK later down the track then grab it while it's "extremely cheap", you can keep looking for the car you want while driving it and over the time that you are driving it you may come to love it and want to keep

I suppose. The HK has no rust, no dents and been garaged all its life. For $500.00 I guess it might be worth it? I’m no real fan of them. You might be right it might grow on me. Ill need more convincing.
Well Ill have a look on eBay and see if there’s a

Without a doubt the HK is the way to go. Ignoring the XV4 or XW8 HQ Kingswoods (GTS 4 doors) it will probably be the only 4-door HK-HZ Belmont/HOLDEN/Kingswood that you won't be wasting money on. HK 4-doors look very trick when done up as they have a very

agree with Byron, HK Kingswood has best body shape by far than any other 4door Holden

Hi Dino. Where abouts are you as I "Lurv" HK's and would be interested in it if you decide to stick with your Premier (also depending if your mate still wants to sell it). If not that's cool. Cheers.

Sorry guys

I know it is a matter of personal taste, but I just can't agree that a 4 door HK is as good a looking vehicle as a 4 door HQ. I have one of each and th Q gets the most votes for looks by friends and neighbours.
I have to say though that t

I agree with jonno, but trying to compaire a HQ to a HK is like compairing Collingwood to Penrith panthers, both are in different leagues, the HK is top dog for the 60's & HQ for the 70's... I wont go into torana V's H series....
but it is individual tas
