Can someone help me. I finally saved up enough to buy me first Calais. VT Series 2 1999. After every heavy down pour (thanks for the rain Lord) under my feet fills up with water. I know this because the previous owner has cut the carpet, from the pedals to the drivers seat. Enough to be able to stick your hand in and feel quite a large pool of water. By the next day it smells like a dirty wet dogs towel. I can't work out where this water is coming from. Is this a common problem is there something i dont know? Please any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks all... Micko.

They rust out under the windscreen..you need to get up under the dash and look for water streak marks to find exactly where it is coming from.
