Go to LS1.com.au and look for a tuner in your area.

However, don't get your computer edited until AFTER you have made your mods and you have the car running on whatever fuel you intend to keep using.

As a stock VX it's basically at 300 flywheel horsepower. Take it to someone like's Sam's performance in Sydney or Oztrack (www.oztracktuning.com). They should easily be able to match the performance of a 285kW HSV from a near stock VX LS1, and that's all

Good advice Byron, but he's in Pt Augusta...hence the advice to find a good tuner in his area. :-)

And honestly, is there anything better than going on a nice long cruise after having 'power up' work done to a car!??

At the end of the day, it's not worth travelling less to go to a less

SS induction throttle body is good. Throw away the SS induction cold air intake. look on ls1.com. on a dyno and track times show power loss. i have a mafless tune,Monaro cold intake. and like you twin 2 1/2 inch cat back. You wont gain much if you dont ge

Pt Augusta to Adelaide should be a good drive, but worthwhile to get a good job done. I drive 500ks to get mine tuned. Powertorque in Brissy did mine and it's great. Plus fuel economy picked up over 10%. Sometimes get a 1000k trip average of under 10l/100

You need to sort out how much you want to spend on it and the results that you want. Are you looking for just as much HP as you can get, or more HP and good fuel economy and driveability.
These are all things to consider when you doing up a car.
