hi guys. My mate has a HK monaro, with a 307, 4 speed and a saginsaw. Its a kinda silvery colour. Could anybody tell me much more info from the following codes? And if the engine by looking at the number, is likely to be the original? Cheers.

These are the numbers he gave me. Bit hard to read his writing so some of those 5's might be S's.

Numbers are OK, but the engine number after the K is wrong - probably just misread.
From memory 30714373 is Pagewood around October/November 1968, and that is close to right for HK GTS 1294 from Pagewood. I'd say the engine is probably original. Colour |
