Hi there guys, Looking at buying this XC and would like to know what you guys think its worth...
XC Falcon 500 4 door sedan GS RAlly Pack 302 V8 FMX T-bar trans LSD Different interior to factory Sports suspension twin exhaust rust in rear guard & boot seal NOT ORIGINAL, HAS BEEN MODIFIED
Now...he reckons it is an Alan Moffat Special. The SIDO# is 524202 and he says it is 202 of 500 made. IS this true and how can I verify this???

By rights it shouldn't be an FMX, should be a C4. There was quite a bit of discussion about the Alan Moffat Specials on www.fordforums.com.au some time ago. Should come up in the search section. I think there is also a mention of them on the UK ford re

Hey there Paul, It was actually factory as a 4sp toploader and got converted to an fmx. Dont want to tell asking price, would like to hear what u think its worth./ Thanks for the info mate, Blitz

Blitz, it's really hard to put a price on these cars. It's only recently they have been viewed as collectable. Before that they were just a 302 XC with a couple of moffat stickers. Plus, how modified is the car? What's been done to it? The mods cou

Buy it and get the original bits to go with it. Very common for the sedans to rust around the boot area and not as painful to fix as a coupe. I think 4 K is a good buy.

isn't onyx black a rare colour? or is that just for the XY's? i saw a phase III in onyx black that sold for half a million or some astronomical figure like that!
