Hi!
I have a 76 F100 that is a factory 302 column Auto (C4 I think) and I also have a 79 F100 that is a 351 4 speed Manual, I would like to swap the auto box and column set up into the 79 model.
Can anyone tell me if the mounting is the same for the two motors to the gearbox? if I can swap everything from one to the other successfully? and of course anything I will need to be aware of in doing this swap??
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Matt

Hello Matt,
I believe that the bellhousings interchange between Windsor & Cleveland but seem to remember something about the flywheels being balanced differently. Of course the difference might be between early & late 302W but which Windsor is the same

No need for nasties. Actually they also have a different starter motor though both interchange.
