Looking at buying a Ford panel van and could do with some feedback on the 1991 XF Falcon. Anyone know what a reasonable price would be? Also, is it a bad idea to go for a reco. motor with few ks? Any thoughts on dual fuel?

any where from $500 to $3000 depending on condition, The 250 xflow is fairly reliable, recon is nice but a mate of mine bought one with over 300,000 on the clock and it was still going strong 2 years later when he sold it.

If you can find an XG or XH panel van you would be buying a much faster & fuel efficient vehicle. Having said that though the XF's are reliable as a rock whereas the 4litre engines can & do have head gasket problems (although my EB2 last had it's head off

Hello Joe,

Jim is right I have a xf 91 model and it sucks on petrol and gas I get about 200km for $50.00 worth of gas and nerly the same with petrol and all xf steering at this age needs to be replaced better off with xg onwards.
