HI, Can anyone shed some light on a problem in my work ute, the Central locking will not lock on the drivers side when you want it to at the most anoying times, like when you are going to leave the ute parked somwhere, it seems to be locking, but the button doesnt go down and the door can be opened, when unlocking you can hear the solenoid working, is it easier just to turf the whole lot?, thanks for your help.

my first bet would be to take the skin off the door... and jump in the car... then press the remote button to lock it... and make sure all the linkages are connected inside the door...

that would most likely be it?!

Cheers!

Mark.

might be just that the plastic door knob has stripped - it used to happen on earlier models that the knob caught on the door trim and wouldn`t go down so the wire inside the know stripped the `threads ` inside the knob.
