Gday all was wondering if anyone can tell me if the rear end of a HQ is the same as HJ, HX, HZ, Eg rear 1/4's, boot and beaver panel apart from the position of the tail lighs?

It is basically the same. Boot lids are interchangeable - just HJ-HZ Statesman and HZ sedans apart from GTS are a different shape. There may be a body line difference along the side though - but minor.

The lower part of thepanel of the rear quarter is more square say on the hz sedan whereas the hq curves under more.
