I have a er mate, who has a "Linamint" HG Monaro GTS in storage with original 308 and trimatic and 10X trim still needing resto.

So I have heard this is not a common colour like Indy Orange, does anyone know why this is and how many were made (not necessarily in the above combination, but in general)?
The previous owner mentioned that these were made that colour only in a GMH "Summer Edition" promotion in late 71, would there any truth to this?
All for interest sake :) .....
