Hi All,

I'm after some advice as to what is going to be a better long term investment as far ultimate resale value might go. I'm considering either a 98 GTS VT at NZ27k or either an 02 CV8 Monaro for the same money. I've stuck with my current ride (I won't mention brands) for the last 9yrs and am looking to upgrade to something that I'll enjoy for the same amount of time to come plus. I would appreciate some feedback as to what the other members think would be the better pick. Also,,, what is likely to be the bigger cash guzzler over time??
Thanks, C

Of the two the V2 would better. Possibly keep looking for a V2 GTO which may be better.

Hey Byron,

Just found an 03 V2 GTO on Trademe for the bargain basement price of 35K, which as beautiful as it is I may have to let someone else enjoy for a time. I checked on your website and saw the HG GTS 350 and thought you might enjoy the debate

About $30k for the V2 and about $25 for the VT. You can buy a VX GTS over here for low $30k
