Hi Guys,
Forgive my ignorance, new too car modding so if my questions sound stupid (well they probably are)but I was hoping I could get some advice about recent upgrades.
Bought a A6 VE-SSV about 4 months ago and two date had two mods, CAI and recently full exhaust x-force 2.5". After the cold air mod, was quite happy with the result, 17rwkw and 50nm torque increase... which for $500 thought had decent bang for buck. I was advise that if I was going the 2.5" system I wouldnt really need a tune but after the install I was taken back at how little difference the upgrade made, 9rwkws and 0 torque.

One thing I did notice on the dyno log that the ignition timing dropped from an avg of about 20 to around 14 across the board ( not actually sure what overall effect that could be having)

I suppose my question is, is it the fact that I need a decent tune to best utilize the new exhaust system or am I just expecting to much from the new x-force system.

If it is the fact that I need a good ECU tune, any recommendation on a good tuner in NSW?
