Gday guys would like to know if the 3.3 sump needs to be modified to clear the vk rack and pinion on my FJ or will it fit with out doing any of that cheers

Best to trial fit it all with the block, sump and rack all fitted.

I have sorta been there (EH) and it is the only way to do it and be sure. I had to modify a sump I thought would fit.

Hi RJR.

That's pretty broad question. It largely depends where you are mounting the rack. As peter_smol has said, trial fit everything first.

If you are mounting the rack in a similar spot to the original drag-link, you will find it easier to use an
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
