could someone tell me what the id tags and the firewall Number have in common. thanx

In what car, some nos match and some dont. The chassis no should be on the ADR tag. In some cars the numeric part of the body no is part of the VIN no. iam looking at buying a hg monaro has correct id tags ie; 81837 what number should match the firewall. what are the fiche records? thanx for the info.

the only number to match the firewall numebr is on the compliance plate, the body number and VIN are not the same number as the chassis number

81837 is unique to the GTS 350, however some model nos can have different engines ie a 80437 is a V8 Monaro, but which V8.
The fiche records list the RPOs or factory options for each car produced, I dont have a copy but there are some people on this fo |
