anyone know if the hk monaro had engine lift brackets on the chevy engines from the factory as i have never seen one with these fitted were they on there then removed from the factory as the early corvettes & camaros had them maybe someone has some old pictures which they can check thanks

These were removed normally in the factory, a small number of carsid leave the factory with them still on.
By your enquiry I suppose you found a set on ebay where the seller said they were mandatory. Well you do not need them if this is the case.

If you just want to use them pulling an engine out, don't worry. I use a plate that bolts to the intake with the carb bolts. Works great, engine balances perfectly. And although theres probably people that will say that 4 x 5/16th bolts won't hold the w

I hook into the rear of the rams horns with manual box for perfect balance.

reason i ask warren or anyone else that may know is that i have 2 what i think are original ones which were in a box with other engine parts which i what to leave on the motor i suppose as a factory extra now ones got 2 bolt holes & the other has one hol
