What is the process with buying a car with no i.d. tags to get it registered again? I am in Vic.

dont know the process in vic but in sa they are not needed if you have the last known rego number & engine number reregister the car in the last owners name & then transfer to your name but i'd say if you were going for inspection you would need them but

it all depends on what model Holden & where it was made, if it's a pre ADR plated vehicle & it still has the subframe attached, then it should have a No stamped into that (LH inner guard), which is what is used for RW & rego purposes in Vic, but if the ca
