gday have a a bit of troble with rust in my EH under the side body mouldings. i bought a cheap sand blaster to get rid of the rust thats done what do i do next ? ive gave it a coating of fisholene over the bear metal .all of the blasting ive done is about the size of a 20c coin in five places with a bit more to do. unsre with what is needed in repairing it myself with under coat n a bit of paint n i hate to say it body filler only to cover up the pitting the rust has left behind. any info would be great thanks JIM

Has the rust made holes through the panels?
For small holes some fibreglass is a good option but is difficult to cut back so put the glass on the inside of the panel and put filler over the top on the outside for easier sanding to shape.

jim .JBM is right. the fibre glass I use is car glass just like bog but fibre glass strands with hardener at any autobarn or what ever is near you, then use traditional bog and a good coat of undercoat and top coat as soon as posable or keep it out of the |

If it is just pitting and no holes you could sand the pitting down as best you can and use a bit of spray putty or high build primer to do spot repairs.
