Hey guys,
Looking for someone that has a yella terra cylinder heads to suit a holden 186 motor. new or used it doesnt matter but it needs to be in good condition. I am currently fixing my first engine and im only 15 so if anyone knows of a better option to the yella terra heads dont be afraid to tell me which way you would go. i intend to put a 390-465 holly carburetor on it and upgrade the cam etc.
Cheers

173 blue motor head = higher compression + similar flow to yella terra. If you buy the whole motor you can utilise the 'starfire' (for lack of better words) rods

Cheers

If it doesn’t burn fossil fuels, it’s not a sport.

oh, and also, yella terra still makes heads for the blue/black motors.

nope. The water jackets dont line up. You have to lay a blue motor head gasket on the deck of the block, and drill where the jackets don't line up. The gasket will cover the old jackets. apparently this is fairly straightforward although i've never tried
