I don't recall any holdens coming out from the factory with decals for engines sizes as original. Certainly not in the 70s anyway. They all had badges and I don't think the HRs came out as 186S motors either, they were labeled as X2's. With an X2 badge.

They used decals on the rocker covers on red motors up to hq, when they switched to the air cleaner in HJ/LH, to match the V8s I suppose, or ,maybe the air cleaner covering the decal in adr27 cars, 27a of course does not. Late HRs had a 186S instead of t

Charlie, there not the same. They are similar but differ in the border thickness also the colour is different. I have a HR 186s decal and compared it to a HK GTS 186s air with original decal and are different.

The guy selling these HR ones also sells the HK T G ones. They only difference is that the HR ones are silver and the HKTG ones are gold. Email him if you want HKTG ones, I have got a couple of sets off him, they are pretty good.

Cheers

Well that is interesting. I only got mine from him about 6 months ago and they are perfect. Certainly couldn't fault them.

Maybe an option could be to buy a HR one and take it to a sticker manufacturer and get your own made up in gold. This is prett

When I bought the couple of sets off him, I only used the rocker cover stickers. So I still have the air cleaner stickers here. Some are clear to allow the gold to show through and i think some are colored gold. But if you want, you can have them and h

Yep Pete, They sure had a 186S HR with the 186S badges on it. They replaced the X2 with the 186S towards the end of the HR run. It was the start of the 186S.
