I have posted in the Torana forum that I am looking to buy back two Toranas that I once owned. The first one was a red L34 that I bought in Denilequin on Bathurst weekend, October 1974. I sold it in early 1976 to travel overseas but I saw it again at a school inspector's home in Lismore in the very early 80's. It was fitted with cross over webbers, a 3.08 diff, a centre roof (front) aerial 8" US polished alloy wheels, Dunlop 255/55/14 Road & Rally tyres and was in immaculate condition. The gold one was bought in very early 1977 in Sydney and I sold it in 1980. It had a fair amount of work done on the motor and would run 13s at the drags. It was well known at the illegal drags at Brickies Hill in Sydney. These were illegal drags run at about midnight on Saturday nights at Five Dock area. This car had polished mags also and the gold paint was sprayed over with more metal flake in the paint. Can anyone help me locate these vehicles to buy back or to just see again, preferably buy back. NSW RTA can take you back to about 1979.........if you had the rego, VIN or engine number you could probably find it. You will have to fill out a 'Freedom of Information act form' to release the names of previous owners. I found previous owners of my vehi

I may have tracked the red L34 that I once owned. Time will tell.
I will try the RTA as I have the original rego number.
