my vr commodore has to rev. highly to get moving. its a v6 auto.

Check the fluid level and if thats ok more than likely you need a reco unit

second hand maybe around 1000 fitted thats what my last one was for my vs but a reco is around 1800 2000 plus fiiting

almost cheaper to get another VR ,my VR wagon with duel fuel was 2700 to buy.Get your box serviced before getting a replacment, maybe its what it needs.
