what type of auto transmission is fitted behind the commodore v6s ? and are they any good ? cheers

I think this is right: TH700R4 VN/VP, 4L60E VR-VE (most) - there are a few generational changes along the way in 4L60E. At some stage some of the very last tonners and crewmens got 4L65E but that may only be V8's. Some of the later examples (maybe VZ SV6)
