I just bought an electronic dizzy that was on a 250 pre X-flow and wish to fit it onto my 221. It's not here yet (being posted) but i'm wondering how to go about fitting it. I assume it wont just go in as per the points one, Can anyone enlighten me as to what i'll need to do please? Also, i have intentions of changing my coil, i have got a GT40 and a GT40R in the shed...Which one is the one needed for my electronic dizzy? Thanks in advance. 1, set your motor to top dead centre No1 to check this line up your timing marks and check to make sure your rotor button is lined up with No1 spark plug lead 2, remove retaining bolt and pull dizzy out Note: rotor button will turn as dizzy is lifted out
