Hello all, I have found a xc coupe to buy. It has no motor or gearbox, missing r/h front guard and the left has rust in it. The interior needs replacing as does the right side door. Fire wall is ok and the body is pretty straight. Is it harder to find parts for coupes or sedans? I think he wants about $3500 for it and would take another $12000+ to get going and on the road. Do you think it would be worth the cost as an investment not for resale?

Sounds about average these days, I know someone who is selling a Landau coupe, complete but in pieces, every thing you would need to do the build, $11500. I'd buy it but I'm trying to build a house.

Well the front guards are the same as any other XC so they should not be a problem. The drivers door should not be that hard to get as they are the same as an XC ute or van however you will need to fit the hardtop glass to the ute/van door. you can modify |
