As most will know (if ya dont you havent been watching much!) but im on the hunt for HQ-WB tyre placard information.

My collection is getting quite large with only a few placard numbers i dont have.

Anyhow the reason for the post is i have found that some of the HJ's had a extention on the placard part number (ND).

Now it seems that the ND extension was something do do with the change from imperial to metcic. ie mph to kph. it seems that the warings with the ND placards are usualy written in kph and have the equiv in mph in brackets next to it. It seems that the HQ placards with the ND didnt do thins but why they got the ND extension im unsure.

From my research so far i have found that:

Placards for HQ rarly used the ND extension (seems some late HQ's may have)

Placards for early HJ's used the ND extension

Placards from late HJ-WB never used the ND extension.

Now what im asking for you guys is some help to confirm this info and help work out what date they made the change and dropped the ND extension.

So if you own a HQ or HJ any body type please let me know the following info:

HQ oe HJ?:
Body Type:
Year and Month:
Build Plant:
ID Plate Engine Code:
And finaly the tyre placard part number (found bottom right hand corner of the sticker)

Now this is mainly for Original HJ's but send as many infos as possible as it will all help.

Once i get all this sussed ill write it all up and get someone to help make a holdenpedia page with all part numbers and what they suit etc etc etc.

Cheers!
Jason
