Hello there,
A friend of mine has a HK Monaro rolling shell of which i'm told is a genuine 327 GTS Bathurst.
The car was used as a drag car some 10 years ago and not 100% complete:
*'Heavily flared' gaurds to suit slicks (will need to be replaced) *Not painted in the original colour (is currently silver, was white) *Wheels missing *Transmission missing *Modifications to the front steering unoriginal *Diff is a 9" (not original) *Steering wheel/seats/door trims/console/shifter missing
There is alot of work required to bring this car to 100% original, but i'm told the original block and crank are with the car, as are all tags/plates and body stampings.
He wants to sell the car and a figure of $65k has been offered, but no-one seems to know what it's worth.
I'm in the process of organising some pics and numbers, any information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Shane

HK 1837 cars are worth excellent $. Having the original engine and matching tags and body make it a valuable prospect. If it was Warwick Yellow it may be worth $65k. But being Ermine White I'm not so sure. A really nice Inca Gold one got passed in for abo |
