Hi chevman.

A 307 out of a Monaro would not be worth more than one out of a Kingswood or a Brougham.

The only time it would be worth any more is if you had the exact engine number that somebody was looking for to complete their project. i.e. it matc

I've got 10 or so 307's from HK-HT in the shed - they used to be everywhere. But I suppose they are starting to get harder to find, especially since many were made into 327 and 350 cube engines meaning an 1/8" overbore.
You can pick some engines as non-M

i saw an aussi prefix 307, good runner advertised the other day for $3800.
i have sold genuine aussi 327s for anywhere between $2K (+00.60 ) and $5K depending on bore size.

All 307s fitted to HK and HT were from Canada. The K is the code for the McKinnon plant in Canada. Type 2 327s, auto HT and HG 350s were also Canadian engines as were all the HQ 350s from memory. Some of the manual HT and HG engines may have been too but
