As some may have read, Im looking to go straight LPG.
eng specs: VS 5 L injected. extractos 2.1/2 dual system. costom made chip to suit LPG and my specs.(just got to put lpg on now)
have been looking at the gas research throttle bodies. and just wondering on sugestions of what size i should go for? eg. S350, S400, S440, S480, S510.
Will my standard manifold from the vs eng be ok?
Im not after huge power at this stage as i am in the process of locating another block so i can stroke it, port heads, cam, new manifold etc etc etc.
So im after sugestions for this stage. It will be about 12months before i have a block built ready so i want to convert to straight lpg now for the meantime.
Also am i better off getting a throttle body thats too big for my engine? so it will be big enough for the 355 stroker? or am i better off just getting a new one later on...
Cheers! jason |

I'm glad my info is helpful to your quest. I do know about the gas research system you want to fit. the 510 is definately big enough for your stroker requirements. To tune that system you need a gas analyzer and preferably a dyno. The dyno is not essentia
