Hello.

I have a XC sedan that I bought a while ago for not much. I also got some really wide centreline type mags with it (came off a XC ute) and when I fitted the rear ones they fouled on the guards.

I was reading on another forum about how people flare/roll their own guards with baseball bats etc (also this link http://youtube.com/watch...IYU&mode=related&search= )
Has anyone done this with an XC here before?

I don't care much about paint....the whole car is going to cop a $150 matt black respray..it's rough as guts but I just want to be able to fit the wheels under the arches. I think the wheel are about an inch too wide right now.....the lip of the guard comes down and "bites" into the sidewall of the tyre.

What's a fully cheap way of just getting the damn thing to fit ?

Any ideas??
Thanks fellas !

The back ones are 265x50x14

They have score marks on the sidewalls where they rubbed on the previos guys cars guards (the XC ute)
I'm assuming utes and sedans don't have significant differences in their rear guards so I reckon I'd need about an inch e
