Do air compressors need rings serviced etc?
I have a supposed 15cfm Ingersold air compressor.
It seems to take forever to pump up and wont keep up with my small sandblaster which is supposed to require 12cfm
Does this have valves or something to be serviced?

they do have rings john, so check the oil in it, and do a comp test.???

Sorry mate I know they have rings what I meant to ask is do they rings often need servicing? What sort of hours should they run before needing replacement?

i have no idea john?
also there are screw types of compressors as well, but most are piston type in that size, the ones i used to have never wore out??
the eectric motor blew up first? also, check the water filter?
but john i am not an egspert?
