Hi Folks. I want to fit an oil pressure gauge to my Windsor. I bought a Venom brand gauge but ended up returning it as the sender unit had a 50mm diameter which was far too large to fit between the fuel pump on one side and the block on the other side of the sender unit. I tried a VDO extension fitting but this didn't help either. I figure there must be a way of fitting up an electric oil pressure gauge to a Windsor! What are other people doing? Is there a particular brand that has a smaller sender unit?

Are the oil pressure sender units on Windsors in a different location to the Clevelands? Clevo ones go in the top of the block behind the inlet manifold.

That's a funny one did the XW-XY GT's & GS's have a tube type oil pressure gauge?
The EFI Windsors had a cannister type sender but the timing chain housing is different as it has no provision for a mechanical fuel pump at all.
Maybe you can moun |

The windsor oil pressure sensor is an electric type and sits on a long extension piece that gets past the fuel pump and cylinder wall. It is about 8cm long and has a 45 degree end so you can get the sender on the end. They are hard to get. It took me a |
