Hi guys, I just picked up a HG 308 monaro.. I am seeking a few spares. Can anyone help with either measurments from their own parts or let me know who is reproducing the items. Also if you have them for sale please contact me.... I appreciate all help given.

I need the following,

HG saginaw shifter and crossmember...even drawings so i can make my own.

Left hand door plate scuttle panel..

rear boot chrome trim strips...

hg lense right hand side..

fan shourd

oil cap for filler tube that comes out of timming case

Air cleaner


Any help would be appreciated.

Yes the prices for Monaro parts are getting ridiculous these days.
Unfortuately that is just a sign of the competition you are up against for Monaro parts these days.
With the big dollars these cars are pulling it makes sense that the parts are becoming

all i need is to physially measure and see one and im done..I will document how i made it for other restorers..Anyone out there can you help... HK HT HG any saginaw crossmember style

Go with what YBR350 says- I have recieved my repro saginaw xmember and linkages from Tony, he is a really skilled craftsman, and keeps contact and is prompt.
Its a bit dear but worth it, just looks unreal.

theres a guy on ebay called "yappa" look him up he makes repo(better than new cross members, linkages shifters etc etc hes actually an engineer and i have purchased his work and hes the best at what he does, a great guy and realistic, affordable prices. c

That Tony guy seems ok but his stuff is too expensive, $1000 for a crossmember with no shifter!! Is he nuts????

You're not making any sense.
The sag crossmember is merely a "normal" crossmember (the kind you buy for $10) with an outrigger type arrangement hanging off it. The guys crossmembers still rely on a Rare Spares shifter so what you're buying for your thous

Jim, by your logic then, why would someone pay 1300 for a genuine flogged out saginaw crossmember (that probably came off a kingswood station wagon like you say) on ebay- see below, when they can just do a backyard job themselves with $20 worth of metal a
