hi can some1 tell me how 2 pick a 289, 302, from a 351? also how 2 tell the difference from a clevo -a winny?and 2 pick a ford auto eg,fmx or a c4? has anyi put a v8 ford motor in a sigma?thanks in advance.

the clevo hav a wide rocker cover & the wins are smaller you would b lucky if u got a289 as they are rare as now the only way i know between the 302 & 51 is to merures the stroke the 51 is round 3.5 ins the 02 is bout 3 ins dont know boxs sorry

The thermostat housing on a windsor is on the intake manifold and faces forward, where as the cleveland themostat housing is on the block and sits upright.

FMX dipstick tube goes into the casing and the C4 tube screws into the trans pan.

i have had a few c4's where the dipstick goes into the casing

C4 has it's own bell housing so it's all one piece straight onto the back of the block.

C4 has alloy case seperate bellhousing that bolts on using the front pump bolts( c6 has bellhousing and case as 1 peice ) small rectangular pan approx 200mm x 250mm at front right side of case there is an cast alloy servo cover held on by 4 bolts (1/2 inc
