Hey Guys
just wondering what was involved in removing a dash from a hq is it hard or quite simple. Also i heard from someone that you can get vinyl paint to paint interior door trims, has any one else heard of neone doing this and do they come out good or just look crap.

you just need tiny fingers to reach in behind the dash with a 3/8 i think socket could be 5/16" to unscrew the nuts on the back of the dash pad.
(later model dash pads just unclip)and you have to take the instrument panel out.

There use to be vinyl dye which was better than the spray as it soaked into the vinyl instead of sitting on top. Not sure if you can get it any longer.

Best idea is to check the manual before removing the dash pad. Some of those nuts are not the easiest to find, and if you miss one you risk breaking the backing that holds the screw thread to the back of the dashpad.
