hello just wondering if any one could give me some more info on a white lightning hk ht or hg.
i work for holden elizabeth plant and i own a one owner hk 307 kingswood.
i have been told they made a so could white lightning hk 307 with ermine white exteria and goya red interia, power steering lsd etc...
wich i have with every service history recorded.
they are more rarer then hk bathurst i have also been told, but it hasnt got two doors.
if this is the case would any one be keen to put a price on my baby.
she might be 4 sale???

Hi kingswood307.
The only 'Special Build' that I am aware of from the factory in those days, was the 'White Hot Special' in the HT series.
It was introduced around Sept '69 in attempt to stimulate interesr in V8s.
They were only built in Kashmir |

When you consider they made 1192 GTS 327s and they used over 3500 chev engines in Sydney before the monaro was released, so from that there would be about 9000 V8 HKs built in the first 6 monnths in all 4 plants, total 27000 over 18 months. I think more t

Just a quick check on those figures (for my understanding).
HK V8 numbers started at 30710000.
Ive seen 30337KR-00249-H5 with engine 3071254x which was original for the car.
Wouldnt that mean about 2500 V8 HKs from Pagewood pre Monaro? Or am |
