Is this build plate normal? It looks like its been stamped, and yet mine is pressed from behind like every other plate Ive seen before.
Did they press them differently in some states? . . . or!

Yeah I think so, the Adelaide built ones (such as this one by the looks of it) were definately pressed in..

I'm pretty sure my plates have one that is stamped like that while the others are pressed.

Strangely enough the seller of that car was at my place today. Very nice genuine bloke.

He actually just bought another Monaro from the guy who bought my HQ

My early pagewood GTS 327 has the BODY plate "pressed" normal, and the PSN (suffix on the VIN plate eg H5123456) also pressed but the start of the VIN ie 81837K is stamped like the Adelaide plates. Looks ugly as hell but that is how it was done.
