hey all i have a hq prem that has colom shift auto (trimatic) and im thinking about fitting a 400 sbc and t 400 or 350 but i want to keep the car looking stock and i want to keep the colom shift has any one set this up befor?

Yes. Standard fitment to all TH400 fitted HQ-HZ. Basically HQ 350 auto and all HJ-late HZ 308 auto (late HZ 308 auto had TH350). By standard fitment I mean that unless a T-bar was standard in any of these cars (like say a HZ Caprice) then you got a column

I love this conversion, column auto, T400.
means you can keep the bench seat in the ute, with the chev + T400.
makes trips to the bottle - o interesting.!
Very common in the HJ Deville... i have found.
